Scriptnetics Staff

Using in-house development and contracted programmers Scriptnetics aims at, and achieves, a high level of software. Scriptnetics has become a leader in taking advantage of the new technologies. The lead system designer is Michael Milne, CEO and chief owner of Scriptnetics. The lead software programmer is Ernesto Varcarcel.

Michael Milne
CEO and Chief owner of Scriptnetics.	Michael Milne has been involved with programming since the early '80s when he bought an Atari and started on his learning climb by writing some of the first printer drivers, as in those days little worked "out of the box". As the years progressed "computers" became more than a hobby with the constant requests from friends, neighbours and employers to "fix" their computers or networks. Design of various systems happened, including a library cataloguing system for a South African College. Testing for year 2000 readiness of his wife's computer system, she is a family physician, discovered the practice management system inherited from a former owner would not survive so he designed a new system, hired programmers and founded Scriptnetics. Having a Masters degree with minors in anthropology and cross-cultural communication he applied this training to understanding what will make software really useful for customers.
Ernesto Valcarcel
Lead software programmer	Ernesto Valcarcel started as a telecommunication engineer and quickly moved into software development. He has worked for many years in the field of the civil aviation, participating as both programmer and lead developer of complex systems maintaining the security of several country's air operations. Having experience with "mission critical" systems has allowed the same focus and dedication in the making Scriptnetics's applications. He is currently one of the most knowledgeable programmers in the world in Tablet PC handwriting applications.
Mike Ferguson
Sales Representative	Michael Ferguson has thirty years experience in Information Technology as a systems analyst, programmer, marketing specialist and entreprener. Michael has shared his career growth with that of the IT sector starting with the distribution of some of the first mini-computers (Qantels), to twenty years as Vice president of Associate Computer Services in which he programmed modules for various systems and was responsible for marketing and sales of well known software for the trucking industry. Michael has been involved in several entrepeneurial and marketing projects before he brought his energies to co-ordinate and build the sales of Scriptnetics.
Ali Kang
Programmer	Ali Kang came to Scriptnetics from China where he graduated as an internationally recognized Computer Engineer. After graduation and before coming to Scriptnetics Ali held several positions in China in the development and support of software information systems, mainly in the transporation and shipping sectors. After coming to North America Ali spent some time adjusting to life here including refreshing his programming skills. At Scriptnetics, Ali does much of the "heavy lifting" providing code for every project.
Stephen Powers
Programmer	Stephen Powers recently graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science with a specialization in e-commerce. His former university employed him for his co-op work term for upgrading and maintaining its database system. Stephen spent a short time in an international hosting and web services company as a Tier 2 technical support professional working on website and server support. A former president of his university's computer science club Stephen continues to enjoy broomball and music when he is away from a computer screen long enough. At Scriptnetics Stephen contibutes his skills and knowledge to keeping things running smoothly in sales, marketing and development of Scriptnetic's cutting edge applications.
Patrick Hardy
Graphic Designer	Patrick Hardy handles the media and graphics design for Scriptnetics' Internet and print marketing. A graduate of a known design college and an experienced illustrator and painter Patrick applies his vibrant imagination and a keen eye to the “outside world” look of Scriptnetics and its products. Patrick manages the design and upgrade of all Scriptnets' print ads, animations, video and the visual aspects of the websites.
Justin Vaillancourt
Programmer	Justin Vaillancourt is the youngest member of the Scriptnetics team and is still a junior high school student. Justin's experience and programming skill is far above his young age. At Scriptnetics, he helps manage our servers and provides technical assistance for web site coding. Additionally, Justin is developing programs that compliment many of our main products. Like most young people he has an interest in game programming and has developed on his own the game Arena DS for the Nintendo DS game machine. This effort brought Justin a top 10 placing in an international game development contest.
